My 400,000 block journey home "journey to the east"
« on: December 31, 2020, 12:55:37 PM »
After i had lost my base /home I was told to go home back foot ,
I had remembered that /claimslist had the coordinates to my base ,
so I was ready with my 42 chicken , lava bucket and 4 stacks of fireworks
and an extra elytra I had keept in my chest close by.

I did /wild and so my journey began needing to travel 400,000 blocks.
After 20 minutes or so I had come across several biomes ,
I had punched some trees to make some signs i could plop down along the way ,

and came across an unlooted ocean monument.

With my waypoint mod I had placed a waypoint there , but I said to my self
"I might need the gold for later and what if I come back here and it has been looted"
I could not claim it due to my recently expanded base so I knew what I had to do.
"Its now or never"  I thought , so I entered and was greeted with a few guardians.

Normally this would be an easy fight but I came unprepared ,
I only had a few blocks, oak signs , a lava bucket and a sword with looting 3.
As I charged in I was in an immediate pickle , as I struggled against the guardians
slowed down by the mining fatigue from the elder guardian almost succumbing to the water and drowning.

A few minutes had gone by and I had come face to face with the elder guardian
, only able to breath cause I had a few signs on hand.

The guardians before hand had already taken half my hearts  , even so I continued and now , struggling to even get a few hits ,
and going against the elder guardian at this time with out even healing up had put me in a bad situation.

Somehow by the skin of my teeth i placed the lava bucket , trapping it in a corner between the wall and an obsidian block
"YES" I thought to my self , able to land a few solid hits the suddenly I had not kept an eye on my hot bar and was holding a firework
and shot my self into the box that had contained the elder guardian.
I panicked and I managed to land that final hit...

I had looted its resources and marked down its coordinates to make a guardian farm later on
and moved on with mu journey back home

I had found a few bugged chunks with half a chest and several gravity effected objects suspended in the air
but besides that , not much...

*about 30 minutes later*

New thing , I saw an interesting build looking to resemble a temple and
what looks to be a portal cube incased in a cage... weird.

*another few minutes later*

I found this interesting hut with floating text ,
I thought to my self "that's not supposed to be happening"
the I realized that , this place was (probably) once a /wild spawn point
with a warp sign to spawn.
cool find

*time transition*

I have spotted what looks to be the remains of a castle and an nether portal suspended on what looks to be chains.
cool build lmao.

*another little while later*

I had ran out of fireworks and as someone who produces a massive amount at home it pains me to say but,
I had to buy a firework box renamed "fly me to the moon" unfortunately I did not do that.

*I was writing this during the trip so your gonna see a lot of time skips*

I had come across this thing amazing build with massive statues in the desert,
seems to look like another pyramid.
Inside is heavily detailed , beautiful insides and looks like a desert themed level boss room form a final fantasy game

*five minutes later*

then close by there was another pyramid but it looks abandoned...
no , looted as either this or the previous build was claimed ,
having took shelter in the pyramid to write this down
I felt like Indiana jones for a little bit
then I noticed "FUCK" I said to my self noticing I had been going the wrong direction for about an hour

*another time transition*

I had flew over a near by desert village , I was relived noticing my chicken supply has run low.
Steeling the hay bales I had made bread , hopefully will last me longer
with still no admin I was forced to continue

ill put more images in the next post

My 3 hour road trip playlist had just ended , thus marking the 3 hour mark.

*time skip*

I had come across an interesting phenomenon , a pre 1.13 chunk loading passed a post 1.14 chunk
the massive material difference form pure gravel to vibrant coral sand and fish
along with the odd height difference making an almost completely flat wall.
Probably very common , but was interesting to say the least.

*nother time skip*

I had found an ice spike biome , a rare sight to see. I had to replace my elytra cause its durability was running low.
I need to find a bed or something so I can heal it back up.

*another one*

A village , although looted there was a bed I could set spawn.
I was trying to decide weather I would like to keep this journey authentic
by not using  the town spawns.

But also wanting to keep my shit I opted to go and heal my elytra back up.
but I would also throw everything I had gotten from the farm into the disposal
as to still keep a fair balance between this journey.

as I get another set of firework rockets , I set out on my journey , "my odyssey"

*like an hour later idk lost track of time*

I had spotted this massive structure , like a desert temple like structure with Anubis like statues...
or a final fantasy desert themed boss room.

and I found an pyramid or... a tomb?
I dunno , what ever it is it looks sorta looted , or abandoned
due to both being unclaimed
(who would abandon these beauties)

*time skip*

After about another 2 hours I had come a cross this fully furnished house that looks like a rich persons fifth house.
Also unclaimed , I had rested my head in this place for a little bit.
Inside where two cats named "Havelock" and "Roosevelt" , sad they where left alone.

Close by there was a wonderful little town .Looks as in the owners are "sky / rachel"
seeming to date back as far as 2018.
I had invited my self to look around "R's brewery" and it looks pretty pog to me.
ah shit I broke character

*TAIAMA SKIPPU*

With the final parts of this journey coming in to a close.
under 50,000 blocks left,
with the song "its been so long by cod Francis" it seems fitting that the song is playing.

*little more*

Spotting a neat little base along the way , the final stretch has come.

*bruh*

After flying another 30 minutes , I had seen out of the corner of my eye a beautiful castle.
neeto.

*there are a lot of these ok?

I thought I had seen everything then BAM out of the edge of my screen a massive ferries wheal , motherfucker was making Disney land or something.
cool build tho.

*little more left*

I had spotted a mushroom biome , gonna make use of that some day.
