Yes paradox uses it and even I use it, it's completely safe and fun to use as you can also get a free cape and skin.

you do relise people only see your skin and cape if they to are using this launcher.... i stay away from launchers like this

This started out as a replacement of the skin index of the original Minecraft because it faced lots of downtime. Mineshafter is like a replica of the real thing it's perfectly safe I've seen the code xd

  Just because you can un-zip a jar file doesn't mean you understand the code,

* What editor are you using to modify it.
*And why should we trust the second place most annoying person on the server XD

I unzipped it, it had 6 (six) class files, I use NetBeans IDE. I looked at all the external resources (connection to other computers through the internet) and none of em had any, well weird stuff (unknown websites or invalid databases)

I may be annoying, but not stupid.

I do not care if you say its safe debu you are an idiot. you are sending info on servers that can be compromised.

EVEN if the code in the program it self is clear the packets your sending back and forth can be altered and sense you opened up to the exe you are virtualy pants off bent over with a nice hole shown to any child that can google how to false packet




So like i said in first place. Use it at your own risk.  this topic is closed. if you fail any checks ingame that a normal client dosnt throw you will not be unbanned.
