The PvP World Cup!Now available in Sentinel

With all of this hype around World Cup,it has come to my mind that a PvP World Cup would be a rather aesthetic and fun event here.

Basically the nations of our towny world who are willing to play this will assemble their national teams and fight accordingly to the rules and permissions of the Tournament.

As of such a Nation shall be elected to host it (though it can be hosted as a partnership).The National leaders will have their time to prepare their teams,participants,national colours and such.

The basic of the game will be fighting in an arena in teams with 5 members.So 5 vs 5.Nations will elect their players and subside them with the weapons and tools needed for the fight.

The Teams contain from:
-2x Scroundels-Leather armour(national coloured  ,iron sword and with 2 harming potions
-1x Tank-Diamond helmet and everything else iron armour,fights with a stone sword
-1x Archer-chain helmet,leather chestplate(national coloured),iron pants and iron boots,a bow and 2 stacks of 64 arrows,and a wooden sword
-1x Knight-Iron armour with a diamond sword(also the captain)

The general rules that will apply to the competition are:
-no /sethome command
-no /back command
-wait outside of the ring while the fight is still lasting
-no carrying of extra things at the fight(potions,arrows,etc.)
-stripped inventory before getting the means of the fight
-no using of enchants,potions(not given in a kit) etc.
-no using of VIP privileges-/fly,and other commands and privileges with bonuses
-no hacks
-act friendly and don't be an a*s
-Respect the committee

The Tournament shall be fought in an Elimination Scheme or in a group league(depending how many nations are playing).In the end you go to the final and all of that and win the tournament!

I'd Say if your not in a town/nation then maybe assemble a team of others not in a town.

and Ben I like the Idea, it might take awhile as lots of ppl are on at different times. but Still we should try.

Well Alness,in that particular view,we cannot register each contestant individually.So yeah you kinda have to be in a nation to participate at it.It would be awesome if the other people embrace this idea so we can have an awesome event on our server. Though Mac's idea here is good,perhaps Independent Hermits team or something like that but umm yeah.

i assume equipment will be inspected before the match, will the use of the Unbreaking Enchantment be allowed?

 If not this is fine, Our nation requests a both at the tournement where we can repair and replace armor etc when needed.

  Also wouldent it make more sense for the tank to weild a stone axe instead of a stone sword?

Oh and about that,I think that nations should preferably fight alone(that is each for itself),since allies and all isn't a fair game and all.So yeah basically EACH NATION FOR ITSELF.

The The Nos_Austrian_Empire might not be competing, Our strength comes from our players and our many allys.

  Not to mention that i can only get about 3 - 4 players online at the same time for a competition, Games are fun and all but real life comes first, people have jobs.

A few of ideas.. Feel free to ignore them, if you wish.

-Each town/nation/team competing has to build an arena for the fights.

-Teams could be 3 people to make more nations/teams able to join, or allow allies and independents to work with the teams

-Gear could be more flexible from a pool of allowed gear to let people use what they are best at.. But limit abuse of axes or swords

-Could also have mini-events between matches for special prizes..
