server IP on website
« on: November 07, 2014, 01:00:10 AM »
Actually, I find it hard to find the IP of the server on the Sentinel craft webpage. Would it be possible to add it to somewhere eye-catching on the homepage?

The ip is quite easy to know since you only add play. to the webpage url. Most pople who join get the ip from the voting websites. Imo, it would be nice to add it but requesting that is like requesting the plugins page to be filled.. Lol.

It was like I wasn't home next to my Minecraft and my friend ask me for the IP and I can't find it...

Just like most things, I take this stance. Sherlock, If you see that there is a deficiency, then I charge you with fixing it. PRovide me an example of what you want and I will look at fixing it.

Same with the plugins page, ect If you think it could be better, show me how and I will look at it. As it is I simply dont have the time to devote to it.

I'm just curious as to why you couldn't just go to your multiplayer section of your game..click on sentinel..click edit..and grab the IP address from there and give it to him? .-.

He said not at home, but at a friends house so he couldn't just click edit.

on what fedgar said, Ask somebody who uses PS (or even MSP lol) to take the banner on the homepage and add the server ip to it, than pm one of the admins and ask to switch the banner when they get a chance, and I'm sure they will.

I'm working on that, lmfao. I've never used PhotoShop or GIMP, or anything. So I'm kinda winging it.

Just use a simple font, NO wacky colors, with an opacity that makes it look like it belongs in the picture.

Yeah. I cant do it in CSS, or HTML. So someone needs to do that with the pic, and I can edit it in. :P
I tried to add <h1></h1> under the picture, but I don't know how to edit the padding under it. ;-;
