Mojang Name Changes

Okay, So I mis-spoke last night when I was asked about changing names. I didnt realize that anyone meant changing names right now. I assumed that that meant after we had migrated the server to 1.8

From this point on, anyone who changes names will forfeit claims to anything they had on another account. Until we have upgraded the server and figure out exactly how to handle the transfers. (It may seem easy but its a pain in the ass for us to modify all the files needed)

Let me reiterate. No Name Changes! -- for now.

I changed my name this morning around 9:30 am Eastern time, is there anything I can do?

You will have to wait. We took notice of all the people who have changed names. I will check the list and see what comes up.
After that itll have to be one of the upper admins that will transfer your stuff as time allows.

Nah, not worth it, I'm just gonna go find other towny server (really liked this one though), I didn't have that much, but I had enough not to start all over and really needed to change that old dumb name I had. Anyway, this is a cool server, keep up the good work you guys are doing it great in many of the ways ways most servers fail.

I don't think you're allowed to go on servers if you change our username. I changed it this morning, and I couldn't go on my server.

Changing your username means you can no longer access the same account.

You can either use a cracked launcher for the next month and then change your name back. Or just start over.
