Are chat clients allowed? ~ Rejected

I found PickaxeChat on Android and wondering if I'm allowed to use it and other clients like that(there's probably something like that on pc too)...
I don't think it's a modification, so didn't post there, it seems to be only implementing chat protocol so wouldn't give any advantages, only chat and commands...
Would be nice to see and chat on the go...

these are not allowed usually they block packets being sent to the client being its chat only it gives errors there is some other issues that make them game changing like some come with built in anti afk usually the server will auto ban these clients

Why are these not allowed ?
will the errors cause slowdown or crash?
it's built for vanilla servers so probably no anti-afk...haven't tested it yet though...but if there was no anti afk and no errors, what would the reason be?

The errors will get you banned automatically by the server because it fails security checks and other stuff. TL;DR don't do it

We had issues of people using (and abusing) that chat plugin for different reasons. So we do not allow them.
