Why do you think it should be allowed:
It's the same principle as AutoSwitch but this one avaible for 1.10.2. Beside that its up 2 date, there are better settings. You can choose what tool to use for what situation. Example: Silk Touch for Diamonds and fortune for coal.



About:
This client mod manages your tools while you mine, in both single player and multiplayer.
You can look for diamonds without stopping to change your tools every dirtblock!
It automatically changes your handhelt tool if you got a better one to break the facing block
It switches to your silktouch or fortune tools whenever you meet an important ore
It can be toggled on and off by pressing a custom key
It supports shovels, axes, pickaxes and shears
Define which block should be mined which tool
It switches back to the Block you used before, if desired

This looks pretty useful, the amount of times I've mined something with a wrong pick is stipid.

It does seem rather useful, and wouldn't mind using it when mining.

Does it only work for mining, such as pickaxes and such, and not swords and axes that are used for PvP?

Why do you think it should be allowed:
AutoSwitch is a mod that automatically switches to the correct tool when mining a block and automatically uses the correct weapon when attacking a mob or a player. It will also switch back to your previous item when you are done mining or attacking a mob, useful for building and going on mining trips.

The mod is finally updated for 1.12.2 and below.
