a.k.a Anime), moderator of SentinelCraft!!
Dani: Welcome Anime to "KYS!". The world wants to know more about you. First question: Why are you in SentinelCraft?Anime: Personality, I was kinda worn out of the standard minigame servers, so I uptook a search for something different, something... Original. Sentinel gave me that original survival feel, and the community was and still is quite amazing! To me, having the ability to hold a players attention through the form of standardization takes a good number of people. SentinelCraft offered that to me.
Dani: What is Sentinel for you?Anime: To me, I find Sentinel a place I can relax, have some fun, and talk with different types of people! I think of it as a little salvation in the world of games.
Dani: What kind of games do you like?Anime: I'm a jack-of-all-trades. From FPS to Cooking, as long as the game can hold my atrention and shows its potential, I usually like and play it. [And as long as I can run it
].
Dani: How did you meet Minecraft?Anime: I actually met Minecraft from my father. I believe I was playing a racing game when he showed me the jist of the game, and I fell in love with it! I love the expressed feel of being able to play how you want.
Dani: And how do you spend your time in Minecraft?Anime: I'm actually an avid Redstoner. I love being able to make machines and tinkering with things, and redstone allows me to do just that. Other than redstone, I'm actually more of a slower player. I know players that get in, go right for diamonds, and get fully decked right off the start... But not me. I prefer to take my time, and make things how I like it before doing something like that.
Dani: Do you have the same behavior with other games?Anime: Mostly, yes. Games such as RPG/MMORPGs, I find I slow down after clearing it, going back over to make sure I've gotten all possible loot. In FPS games, I usually use a sniper class, due to being able to take out my target from afar, without risking myself in the dead of the fight.
Dani: Do you have any other hobby besides gaming?Anime: Back when I had the equipment, I used to love animating and creating characters for others via CGI. I also love taking photos and videos when I go on trips.
Dani: Woah, that's cool. Did you study animation or something?Anime: I took 2 year of animation classes in Highschool when I went. Unfortunately, I was never able to continue the passion outside the classroom due to the lack of money for the programs we used.
Dani: And now, what do you do? Work or study?Anime: Currently both. While working on a HiSet program, I'm currently working in retail. Hopefully I can pick up animation again sometime in college once I finish with HiSet.
Dani: By the way, do you really watch anime?Anime: I do, quite a bit actually. Usually when I'm not play a game or working... I find myself watching an entire season of an anime.
Dani: What kind of anime do you prefer?Anime: While I do enjoy Action/Adventure, Comedy, and Horror... I do prefer an Ecchi every now and then.
Dani: What is your favorite anime?Anime: There's no way I could easily choose a single anime as a favorite... But some of my tops are Busou Shojo Machiavellianism (Armed Girl's Machiavellianism) , Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (Gurren Lagann) , Monster Musume no Iru Nichijo (Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls).
Dani: Back to Sentinelcraft. Why did you decide to become a moderator?Anime: I'm always the type of person who helps people who need it. (Whether I'm suppose to or not...) I felt that since I was already helping the community, I felt like I should go the extra length and become not only a face of the staff, but a friend and voice for the community and its members.
Dani: How would you describe your experience as moderator?Anime: I'm quite happy and content with it. The community sees me as a person who can keep them safe, while still allowing me to take part with them as if I was a regular member, just like all the staff.
Dani: Who from the server do you think that knows you better?Anime: Link_Gamer_15. Without a doubt. Me and Link are IRL friends that went to the same highschool together (many classes too).
Dani: And the last question, Any last message for the server?Anime: The biggest thing I can say is this: Strive for something new, challenging, or even fun. Branch your ideas from your norm. Talk with the community! If you don't know something, there's bound to be someone who does! Also don't foeget to ask me some questions if you ever see me on the server! 'Til next time, WTA.
